After graduating from Humboldt State University Bret Ritter began Timber Gulch Construction in 2003 in Arcata, California. At the time he was building subdivision homes for a large home building company and running Timber Gulch Construction on the side.
In 2005, Bret and his wife Beverly moved to Mount Shasta, California. Bret began building custom homes and remodels as a full-time business. Timber Gulch Construction, which began with Bret and two employees, has grown into a family run business with ten employees and Beverly working as project and office manager.
